My Actifit Report Card: May 5 2023
Lulu and I enjoyed a beautiful but dirty day down in Stanton drywashing for gold and getting in some hiking around the hills.
We did just a short mile loop at dawn before heading out so that Lulu could take care of a potty break.
It was warm but not too bad down south in Stanton so it wasn't too tough a day. Lulu ran around a bit while I trekked along the dry creek and then dug a few buckets of dirt. The previous month or two precipitation has brought the cactus into bloom but the formerly green grass was now dry and brown.
Not too many miles hiking but it was a good bit of work for us both out in the countryside.
After a light dinner I went out for an easy 4 miler to loosen up my tight back. My legs were fine and the traffic was light on my neighborhood double loop route. Still no running but did try a couple of short downhill jogs which weren't too bad.
Just a shopping and chores day tomorrow.
