My Actifit Report Card: June 2 2023
Just our usual day trip up to Flagstaff for a few hours. Plenty of gray skies and light drizzle on our 3 mile walk on the trails.
Despite the overcast sky there qere plenty of other folks out enjoying the Friday and Lulu was happy to be out on a long trek through the forest
She had some fun trying to chase a squirrel around the trees but the little critter just ran her around the tree and then loudly chattered at her from the branches.
Fortunately the raindrops were few and light on our walk and we finished our stroll just as the showers started to get heavier. Overall a nice effort in a scenic spot.
Finished my week with an easy 4 miles on the road late in the afternoon back in Prescott were the sky was clear and sunny. The long drive didn't really bother me that much and it was an easy paced walk on the back roads.
We're off on a long dog rescue transport tomorrow up to the AZ/NM state line so it won't be much of a day for activity but a old pattie will be on his way from a rescue to a forever family so that's great.
