My Actifit Report Card: February 3 2024

I'm tired, dirty and my legs and back are aching after a few hours digging in the muddy dirt over a Lynx but at least we had a good hike and enjoyed the forest.

Our morning walk was nothing spectacular but it was nice to see the sun after yesterday's gray and snowy weather. Lulu was happy to trot out ahead of me so we were moving at a faster pace.
A lot of the snow had melted so the ground was easy for hiking except for some muddy spots along the way. Lulu was very excited to be out and running around through the pines looking for squirrels to chase. She never strays too far so I let her roam as I continued along the old jeep trail higher up into the creek.
After a few hours in the mud it was a nice and easy mile back down to the car. Lulu was already way ahead of me as I was packing up and happily waiting by the car when I made it back.
My plan is to head up to Sedona for a picturesque hike through the Red Rock country with Lulu and I'm hoping the trails are quiet for us.
