My Actifit Report Card: April 14 2024

We had been scheduled to help with a dog transport today happily the lucky pooch was adopted by one of the drivers in Albuquerque so it was an off day for me.
It was nice not to be on the road early in the morning today and Lulu and I instead enjoyed a more pleasant 3 mile walk.
As usual the Sunday traffic was very light and we were the only people out this early in the morning.

It was a bit chilly at first with the thermometer at 38 degrees but it would quickly begin to warm once the sun rose higher in the sky. Lulu was more than happy to lead the way and we finished in no time at all.
Since it was a nice day I figured a few hours over at Lynx Creek would be great.

A fair number of people were camping by the creek so Lulu had to make friends first before we headed upstream along the trail high above the creek. It was very comfortable and there were plenty of birds and smells to keep Lulu contented while I enjoyed the mileage through the forest.

We headed out for a mile and a half to a nice quiet and secluded spot deep along the creek where I hunted around for a couple of hours while Lulu watched and relaxed in the shade.
The trip back was a bit tougher as our route went high above the creek on a very hilly trail but I was in no hurry and Lulu stayed close by.

It was a nice close to the weekend and we'll sleep well tonight 😴.
