My Actifit Report Card: January 16 2026

My legs were feeling good this morning as Lulu and I headed out for our customary 2 miles under sunny skies and with the thermometer at almost 40 degrees.
Not much exciting going on so it was a nicely paced walk to get things going today.
My run was a couple hours later after some work around home and it consisted of an easy 3 mile loop around the area on the trails. No slippery or icy spots today so my pace was better than the past few times I've run here.
My running endurance is still really subpar so I won't be running in next month's Jackpot Ultra up in Nevada as a 24 hour effort isn't realistic at this point - hopefully I'll be ready for it next year.
We wrapped up the day with a great couple of miles down along the river on the Jail Trail in Old Cottonwood. Plenty of beautiful scenery and several other folks enjoying the trails with us. Lulu got some attention and petting so she was a happy girl and I added more miles to my day.
