My Actifit Report Card: March 20 2026
Another miserably hot day with triple digit temperatures once again. My 4 tough miles around the neighborhood were under a bright sun and 100 degrees.
At least the Blowout Trail seemed a bit cooler with some shade, and the water flowing from the water treatment plant also helped moderate the heat and bit. Still, it was a slow and tough run even though my total mileage wasn't much.
We headed down to the Verde River in the evening for a nice hike among the rapidly sprouting landscape.
Lulu enjoyed some attention from some other walkers and our hikes are the highlight of her days - it will be nice to be back in Spearfish soon where we'll be in the beautiful Black Hills.
Hope my Actifit friends had better conditions today.
