Blowout Wash Trail run - My Actifit Report Card: October 14 2025

Our return to Arizona has really perked up my running as my second run in Cottonwood was a late afternoon trail run high in the hills above town.

We took a trip down to Prescott for some organic food shopping and then a little hike up at Granite Basin so Lulu could enjoy some time back in her old "neighborhood". Nice and sunny and green after the recent rains and we had a wonderful couple of miles in the forest.

My trail run was on a single track network about a mile up the road and right away my legs felt great and I enjoyed views of the valley as the rolling miles zipped on by.
The sun was low by the time I completed the trail loop and cruised down the road back to home.
Made me feel good about my upcoming 24 hours ultra in a month and hopefully the winter will continue on this positive note.
