Here comes Summer ☀️ - My Actifit Report Card: June 19 2025

Summer is almost upon us and today the thermometer was into the mid 90s and humid so my run had to wait until thecooler evening hours.
Even Lulu was happy to splash in the campground creek after our very warm morning walk for a cool down.

Fortunately it wasn't too busy at the hatchery so my volunteer hours were easy and I wasn't that fatigued before my run.
My route was a simple multi loop trek on the recreation path into the canyon entrance before heading back on the mountain biking trails through the area. Lots of easy but slower single-track that was a nice break from the pavement although it did slow my pace just a bit. I felt good the whole way and ended up with just over 7 miles so I'm happy.
