Hot again - My Actifit Report Card: July 1 2025

Another hot and muggy day was in the forecast for today so I'm glad my volunteer hours were in the afternoon so that I could run before the conditions got too miserable.

It's been a damp season so far here in the Black Hills which is quite a change from the years in arid Arizona. We're a third of the way through our volunteer assignment and hopefully we'll have our winter plan set soon.
My legs were better today as I am finally caught up on my sleep so my pace was a lot better but still not very speedy. The trail portion slowed me down a bit but it's always more enjoyable to run on the dirt.
Finished up with a relaxing evening stroll around the park and hatchery with Lulu. Such a beautiful place.
