My Actifit Report Card: June 3 2025

The day dawned cold and dreary with a foggy and soggy morning that chilled us all. Fortunately the forecast called for clearing skies so our morning walk wasn't too bad.

Of course the recent rains made the humidity high but the temperature had cooled by the time I started my late afternoon run. After an easy start along the recreation path I headed up into Spearfish Canyon on the gradually climbing road. It was a very nice run with the high canyon walls towering hundreds of feet on either side. There's plenty of running room so the traffic wasn't a problem. I did a simple 4 miles out before turning around for a nice quick return back down the highway to return along the pathway once again.
