My Actifit Report Card: June 7 2025

It wasn't much of a day for running after a long day of volunteer work at the hatchery in warm weather that left me tired by the afternoon.

It was nicer early in the morning when I took Lulu out for a couple of miles around the area before my shift started. Even at these early hours there were plenty of folks already out enjoying the day which made Lulu very happy 😊.
For my run I ran several different loops through the forest around the hatchery and city campground before finishing up with a speedy loop onto the town center and back home. My legs felt pretty good after loosening up and my pace continues to improve.
I'm still unsure of my race schedule going forward but I'm hoping to run in a low key 6 hour trail race in August and then hopefully the Palmer Lake 24 hour again at the end of September after we have finished the season here in South Dakota.
