Garnacho Finally Signs for Chelsea After Struggles at Manchester United

Alejandro Garnacho emerged from Manchester United’s academy as one of its brightest prospects, earning accolades like the FA Youth Cup title and being named Young Player of the Year. He burst onto the first team scene with flair—scoring vital goals and impressing fans with his pace, dribbling, and iconic Cristiano Ronaldo–inspired celebrations.

However, under new management things took a turn. Garnacho found himself sidelined, dropped from the squad, frozen out during pre-season, and excluded from key tours and matchday lineups. The situation deteriorated to the point where he was training separately—signals of a breakdown in relations and a clear crossroads in his career.

Although it was a foregone conclusion for the Argentinean Manchester United player, both given Garnacho's poor relationship with his manager and all the other known details, I find it incredible that he wasn't sold for such a low price, as 40 million for a player in this condition is fine. I don't think he'll get many minutes at Chelsea; we'll see if he ends up leaving for Strasbourg or another team in January.

I hope he will get many minutes, but of course, it will be tough competition in Chelsea.

Like you did say, his journey has been nothing but dramatic. I do wish he leaves the drama at the door and come show that talent we all know he has
