Green October has been Amazing: 108% Hive-engine Goals Achieved

October has been indeed a month that has again changed my narrative about investing in Hive's second layer. Looking back at when Hive broke out in 2020 and how my engagement on the chain between the second and third quarter of 2020 gave me a springboard to have positioned myself financially for the huge expenses I made in the Q4 2020 to Q1 2021, I knew I wasn't doing so well. With the pace I started my hive-engine investment, I should have held stakes worth $50k or more as at now, however, for some reasons, the consistency cycle was broken. Glad that I took a decision to reconstruct my investment strategy at the beginning of October 2021 and I gathered the momentum to step up my engagement game. It is true that investment would always be hampered when there are no capital. For me, the source of the capital capital has always been content creation and engagement. Though with some loopholes, October was all-round better compared the last Six months.

While publishing #myhivegoals for October 2021, it looked like they were impossible, but 28 days after, the mark has been made and I'm excited about it. I was able to stretch to cover two of the portfolios to 100% (one of which has been doubled), started a fresh investment not included in the initial goal to a record value of $145 and also pushed other tokens to around the 90% achievement level. It wasn't an easy task but the risks were worth taking bearing in mind the future of the tokens and hive itself.

I remember last year, trying my very best to encourage a friend to invest in Hive and particularly LEO token which was prices at around $0.05 (5 cent) and it looked like there was no future for the tokens, sooner, LEO picked to $0.5 and he became interested and could only gather just a few tokens. A year later, he came to understand better the future value of the Hive blockchain and now regretting buying Hive at $0.75 when he could have bought it a year ago at around $0.3. It gets more difficult for us that our fiat is losing value against USD on daily basis. I told him today's prices of Hive and Hive-engine tokens are the least one can have in the next 5 years.

It was exciting to hit the following stakes of hive-engine tokens that resulted in an average goal achievement level of 108%:

• 73 million SPORTS Power (97.3%)
• 6,000 LEO Power (100%)
• 104,700 LIST Power (87.3%)
• 4,650 POB Power (93%)
• 30,000 SPT Power (200%)
• 25,400 CTP Power (84.6%)
• 3,483 ONEUP Power (100% +)

I'm certain that in the next three days left for October to finish, I would have added 2 tokens to the 100% goal achieved list. That would be possible POB and CTP. Also, it would be nice to finish the month with 40k SPT Power and 5,000 ONEUP Power. November would be another big month as I would scale the goals higher again to motivate more commitment to achieving them.

Here's the Drive...

I'm actually moving forward with my stakings of Hive tokens till the holdings round up to a $1 million which would be a fair reach to divide as inheritances for my children and grandchildren. I'm all in for Hive and Hive-engine tokens and I see a sustainable future with the blockchain and this is the best time to buy into that future.

My eyes are on the future and as we've heard many times that the communities hold the keys to the future of Hive blockchain. This is so because as many join Hive courtesy of communities with specifics, and they see Hive rewards as a bonus to the community tokens they earn, we'll see more HIVE pushed into the hive-engine layer and thereby finding their way out of the chain through swaps with SWAP.BTC, SWAP.BNB, SWAP.ETH and other big tokens that are already gaining traction in trading volumes in hive-engine.

Do your research and find some hive0-engine tokens to invest in. For me, curation heals it better. We are getting closer to the future.
