NBA Playoffs: Nuggets comeback from 3-1 hole, eliminate the Jazz in 7 Games

avatar

History again has been made as the Nuggets are the 12th team comeback from 3-1 to win an NBA Playoff Series. The Jazz was up 3-1 after 4 games only for Denver to pull and win 3 straight games to overcome the deficit, thanks to the stellar play of Jamal Murray scoring a ton of points per game to pull the Nuggets through.

This series for me was the best series so far in the NBA Playoffs this year. I expected the Jazz to win it in 7, I was wrong.

This game it wasn't Jamal Murray leading the Nuggets, Nikola Jokic towed the line with 30 points, 14 rebounds, and 5 assists. Followed by Jamal Murray with 17 points. It was a game down the wire, back and forth until the final minutes were the Nuggets held through. Mike Conley missing the game winner in the end.

For the Jazz, Donovan Mithcell led the team with 22 points, and 9 rebounds, followed by Rudy Gobert with 19 points and 18 rebounds. The Nuggets will now face the Los Angeles Clippers on the next round.

Opinions

The end of the game for me was hard to watch seeing Donvan Mitchell emotional after the loss, as I rooted and expected them to win. Massive respect for both teams bringing it all to the end, the win could have gone to either team.

What did you think of the outcome of the series, share your thoughts below, and let's discuss.
