[ESP/ENG] Mi experiencia y trabajo en los Juegos Deportivos Parroquiales 2023 || My experience and work in the Parish Sports Games 2023

Saludos amigos de Hive y de la comunidad Full Deportes, es un placer para mí traer un nuevo contenido, en este caso se trata sobre los Juegos Deportivos Parroquiales 2023 que se inauguraron en un ambiente de festejo, alegría y mucho disfrute tanto para los atletas que competirán desde las 18 parroquias del municipio Maracaibo, estado Zulia, Venezuela, como para sus padres, representantes y el público presente.

Greetings friends of Hive and the Full Deportes community, it is a pleasure for me to bring a new content, in this case it is about the Parochial Sports Games 2023 that opened in an atmosphere of celebration, joy and lots of enjoyment for both athletes who will compete from the 18 parishes of the municipality of Maracaibo, Zulia state, Venezuela, as for their parents, representatives and the public present.

Todo se desarrolló en la Vereda del Lago donde estuvieron más de 2.500 atletas de distintas disciplinas deportivas como fútbol de salón, kikimbol, baloncesto, ajedrez, gimnasia, patinaje, etc, los cuales se reunieron para celebrar un evento lleno de pasión y espíritu competitivo.

Everything took place at the Vereda del Lago where more than 2,500 athletes from different sports disciplines such as indoor soccer, kikimbol, basketball, chess, gymnastics, skating, etc., gathered to celebrate an event full of passion and competitive spirit.

Todo inició a partir de las 4:30 pm con un sol radiante y un calor que solo entendemos y soportamos los que vivimos en Maracaibo. El ambiente estaba lleno de energías positivas, había mucha emoción, ya que la comunidad había esperado este momento, luego de la culminación de los Juegos Sectoriales. Mis compañeros y yo trabajamos arduamente para preparar el lugar, adornando con globos verdes y amarillos, que identifican a la gestión de la alcaldía y pancartas inspiradoras para quienes son los protagonistas de este evento, los atletas.

Everything started at 4:30 pm with a radiant sun and a heat that only those of us who live in Maracaibo can understand and endure. The atmosphere was full of positive energy, there was a lot of excitement, as the community had been waiting for this moment, after the culmination of the Sector Games. My colleagues and I worked hard to prepare the place, decorating with green and yellow balloons, which identify the mayor's office and inspiring banners for those who are the protagonists of this event, the athletes.

El evento comenzó con una animada ceremonia de apertura en la parte central de la Vereda del Lago, frente a las gradas principales. Los atletas desfilaron con orgullo, representando a sus respectivas parroquias. El sonido de fondo era motivador, los aplausos y los gritos de ánimo de los familiares y amigos se mezclaban con la emoción en el ambiente.

The event began with a lively opening ceremony in the central part of the Vereda del Lago, in front of the main bleachers. The athletes paraded proudly, representing their respective parishes. The sound in the background was motivating, the applause and cheers of family and friends mixed with the excitement in the air.

Después de que todos los deportistas se acomodaron, un paratleta subió a la tarima. En un discurso inspirador, habló sobre los valores del deporte y la importancia de la competencia justa. Sus palabras resonaron en los corazones de todos y recordaron a los presentes el verdadero espíritu de los juegos mediante una juramentación.

After all the athletes were settled, a para-athlete took the stage. In an inspiring speech, he spoke about the values of sports and the importance of fair competition. His words resonated in everyone's hearts and reminded those present of the true spirit of the games through a pledge.

Luego, el alcalde de la ciudad tomó la palabra, elogiando el esfuerzo y la dedicación de los atletas y deseándoles lo mejor en sus competencias.

Then, the mayor of the city took the floor, praising the effort and dedication of the athletes and wishing them the best in their competitions.

Este evento es de gran importancia y cada parroquia quería estar representada en él. Para ello, se decidió nombrar a una madrina de cada parroquia. En la Vereda se hizo el anuncio de que una de las madrinas, elegida al azar mediante un sorteo, tendría el honor de representar a todos los atletas en los juegos. Un momento lleno de suspenso envolvió el lugar cuando el nombre de la afortunada representante fue anunciado.

This event is of great importance and each parish wanted to be represented in it. To this end, it was decided to appoint a godmother from each parish. In the Vereda, the announcement was made that one of the godmothers, chosen at random by a drawing of lots, would have the honor of representing all the athletes in the games. A moment full of suspense enveloped the place when the name of the lucky representative was announced.

También, se dio paso a un espectáculo de coreografias realizado por talentosos bailarines. Su habilidad y gracia impresionaron a todos los presentes.

There was also a choreographed show performed by talented dancers. Their skill and grace impressed everyone present.

Finalmente, el momento más esperado llegó: el encendido del pebetero. Un atleta destacado de la ciudad, reconocido por sus logros deportivos, tomó la antorcha y la encendió con una llama ardiente. Una ola de emoción arropó a todas las personas que estuvieron ahí, mientras el fuego se elevaba hacia el cielo, simbolizando el inicio oficial de los Juegos Deportivos Parroquiales.

Finally, the most awaited moment arrived: the lighting of the cauldron. An outstanding athlete from the city, recognized for his sporting achievements, took the torch and lit it with a burning flame. A wave of emotion enveloped all the people who were there, as the fire rose towards the sky, symbolizing the official start of the Parish Sports Games.

La Vereda del Lago se llenó de un sentimiento de orgullo y satisfacción, sabiendo que habían sido parte de un evento deportivo memorable que unió a la comunidad en un espíritu de sana competencia y camaradería.

The Vereda del Lago was filled with a sense of pride and satisfaction, knowing that they had been part of a memorable sporting event that united the community in a spirit of healthy competition and camaraderie.

Los siguientes días se estarán realizando las competencias en los distintos sectores de la ciudad, cada uno en su parroquia debe demostrar ser el mejor para representar a nuestro municipio en los Juegos Municipales.

The following days the competitions will be held in different sectors of the city, each one in his parish must prove to be the best to represent our municipality in the Municipal Games.
