Day 5 Greece - Kavala Historic Trail

Hi there Hive Family,

Today we decided to visit a famous port city in Greece called Kavala.

This is a picture from afar. It looks so amazing.

Loving the view.

We left the car close to a bus station outside the city and headed to the main street and the castle (The Acropolis Fortress) of Kavala.
This image is of the city Aqueduct. It marks the beginning of the old city and also served a defense function in the past.

The city bazaar. Rings and all kinds of gadgets.

Loved the paintings. The Gypsy Boutique.

This lovely cat was super friendly to me. It let me pet it and film it.

A pomegranate tree.

The house of Mohamed Ali. A famous Albanien who made a lot for The Osman Empire and particularly Egypt.

Now I am going to share several images of the Acropolis Fortress. This is the main attraction of Kavala with the best panoramic views.

They also had an armory house. Today it only has stone bullets.

This is a monument of Ali Pasha.

A Ficus tree with its fruits. Incredible!

Near Ali Pasha was another beautiful place covered with rocks. I spent some time there too.

As it was getting late. We decided to take the car and spend the rest of the day at the beach.

Loved that coloring of the cat.

We spent 3 hours at the beach before going home.
