Homemade jam from whole figs
Today, for the first time, I make jam from whole figs and I am glad that it turned out very tasty.
I peeled the figs from the night before and covered them with sugar.
The next day I added 4 glasses of water and put the jam on the stove. I boiled it without stirring to preserve the integrity of the fruit.
I removed the foam that had formed.
I judged when it was done after placing a drop with a spoon on a flat surface and the drop did not spill. After removing it from the heat, I add citric acid.
While the jam was warm, I put it in clean and dry jars.
Finally, I sterilized the jars.
Here is the finished jam - it is really very tasty.
