Sunrise from Bakarlaka
In yesterday's Actifit Report, I wrote how on Saturday with my friends, we were cycling to the foot of Bakarlaka to have a picnic. Some of us stayed at a tent camp to meet the sunrise from the peak.
Early Sunday morning we picked up the bikes and rode up in the dark.
Birds flew low around us. Wild bunnies and mice crossed the paths in the dark.
Seconds before the sun appeared on the horizon we reached the top. The sky was clear and the view majestic.
The reddest part of the horizon was getting redder and the sun was beginning to show.
You can watch sunrise timelapse in the @myfreshes profile.
Medni rid (Bakarlaka) is a hill in southeastern Bulgaria, the extreme northeastern branch of the Bosna hill from Strandzha mountain.
After enjoying the beautiful sunrise, we were cycling back to the camp.
The sun was already shining on the beautiful rocks, vegetation and moss. It was so beautiful!
