I recently watched how a cat plays with a mouse.
From the side, it looked like the cat was wondering what to do with a mouse.
He nudged the mouse with his paws. He was suffocating her.
A cat would take it in his mouth, hold it for a short time and let it go.
He watched mouse from afar or approached her, but always kept a close distance to prevent her from getting far enough to escape.
I don't know how long the cat game went on or how it ended, but I had to leave them, to do some things.
