How nice to meet an old friend you haven't seen in a long time. The memories overwhelm you, and the feeling of the strong connection that time cannot break increases.
I have a girlfriend from my teenage years who left to live in USA a long time ago and whom I see quite rarely live because of the long distance.
I spent a great afternoon with her yesterday.
It was raining just as we met. We went into the nearest cafe and talked sweetly and drank fruit shakes.
We took a long pleasant walk through the main street of the city. My girlfriend was so happy to walk around and reminisce about the different places we spent as teenagers.
