Small streets in the city in May
On Friday I headed downtown to run some errands.
I preferred to move through the small streets to avoid the noise and chaos that has already taken over the city center.
I like the cozy atmosphere and silence on them, especially nicely combined with the blossoming trees.
Passing through Helicon - one of the city's big bookstores, I saw the new drawings on the side facade inscribed with quotes from famous people. Here are some of them:
"Therе are worse crimes than burning books. One of them is not reading them."
Joseph Brodsky
“A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. The man who never reads lives only one.”
George R.R. Martin
