On the beach

The weather here has been very cold for a few days and today, although the day started with rain, the afternoon outside brightened and I headed to the beach with great desire.

It was a pleasure to breathe in the sea air, to be touched by the light January wind, to feel the sand under my feet.

It was liberating to watch the sea and the beautiful shapes that the waves drew.

The sand was beautifully smoothed by the sea water and the clouds above me created a fabulously fluffy picture.

It was a wonderful January moment.

Walking
