My Thoughts on Club World Cup : PSG VS INTER MIAMI (4-0)

PSG vs Inter Miami game was a total mismatch.
PSG 4 -0 Inter Miami and honestly, it could’ve been more. From the very first whistle, PSG just looked sharper and miles ahead in quality.

What I observed : PSG for a second, they were absolutely dominant. From midfield to attack, it was just smooth, controlled football. Vitinha had the kind of game that doesn't show up fully on the stat sheet but makes a huge difference. His control in midfield was insane. Every time PSG got into the final third, you could feel something was about to happen. The combinations, the movement, the fluidity very perfect.
About Inter Miami...man, they looked lost. No energy, no structure. I know they’ve got some big names like Messi, Busquets, and Alba, but this looked like a team that’s still trying to figure out what kind of football they want to play. Messi barely had any touches that mattered. And I get it he’s not 25 anymore, and he needs a supporting cast.

Defensively, Inter Miami were all over the place. The marking was loose, they gave PSG too much time on the ball, and honestly, they looked scared to press. You can't play a team like PSG and give them that much space. You either press them or you sit deep. Miami did neither.

Also, I don’t know what’s going on with their fullbacks, but they got exposed badly. PSG’s wingers had a field day. Every attack looked like it had the potential to lead to a goal.

It’s clear that Inter Miami is still a team in progress. There’s quality in that squad, for sure, but when you play against a European powerhouse like PSG, everything gets humbled

PSG, on the other hand, just looked like they were having fun. It’s scary how easily they can break teams down when they’re in the mood. Even though it's just a Club World Cup group game, they played like they wanted to send a message,and they did. Loud and clear.
