I can say that Beşiktaş dominated Fenerbahçe until the middle of the second half with the advantage of being the home team. In an early minute, Fenerbahçe's Novak found the ball in front of him and put his team 1-0 ahead in a goalmouth scramble, which happened due to Beşiktaş’s wrong offside tactic. Besiktas won a penalty within 8 seconds as Novak touched the ball with his hand after the following kick-off. Batshuayi, who is the disappoinment in Beşiktaş in this season and managed to hit his last penalty-kick bar, hit this penalty again the bar. After the penalty-kick, he was already under the influence of missing the penalty and was substituted in 62'. Novak took the penalty again, this time using Ghezzal to make the score 1-1 In 31'. Beşiktaş started the second half with press and Larin could not score the two clear goal positions. Beşiktaş dropped off the game after 70' as a result of the intensely press game. My favorite players in derby in Beşiktaş were Serdar Saatçı and Kenan Karaman, who played unexpectedly well.

Zaten bu dakikadan sonra da penaltıyı kaçırmanın etkisinde kaldı ve 62. dakikada oyundan alındı. 31. Dakikada yine Novak tarafından yapılan penaltıyı bu kez Ghezzal kullanarak skoru 1-1 yaptı. İkinci yarı Beşiktaş maça baskılı başladı ve Larin iki net gol pozisyonundan yararlanamadı. Beşiktaş yoğun baskılı oyun sonucu 70. Dakikadan sonra oyundan düştü. Fenerbahce had won 10 of their last 11 matches before the derby. However, the game played by Fenerbahçe in the derby did not reflect this success at all. In my opinion, the best player in Fenerbahçe was Ferdi, who played as left-back. I can say that the only technical player on behalf of Fenerbahçe was İrfan Can. Except the goal, Fenerbahce has one remembering goal position that they could not find the net with Serdar Dursun. As Beşiktaş got tired after the 70' and made substitutions for counterattack, Fenerbahçe had taken control of the game. As a result of İrfan Can's substitution, Fenerbahçe did not have a technical and productive football player on the field, therefıore they could not use this advantage.

Fenerbahçe derbiden önce son 11 maçının 10’unu kazanmıştı. Fakat, derbide Fenerbahçe’nin oynadığı oyun hiç de bu başarıyı yansıtmıyordu. Bana göre Fenerbahçe’nin en iyisi sol bek oynayan Ferdi’ydi. Fenerbahçe adına sahadaki tek teknik oyuncu İrfan Can’dı diyebilirim. Fenerbahçe’nin gol dışında aklımda kalan, Serdar Dursun ile yararlanamadığı bir gol pozisyonu var. Beşiktaş’ın 70. Dakikadan sonra yorulması ve kontra atağa yönelik değişiklikler yapması nedeniyle oyunun kontrolü Fenerbahçeye geçti. İrfan Can’ın oyundan çıkması sonucu sahada teknik ve üretken futbolcusu olmayan Fenerbahçe bu avantajı kullanamadı.

Fenerbahçe - Galatasaray derbies always come to the fore in Turkey, however in my opinion, the sense of the derbies in which Beşiktaş is included has always been higher. Nevertheless, Beşiktaş who threw in the towel, and Fenerbahçe which almost guaranteed the second place in the league, came face to face in this last derby of the 2021-2022 season. We watched a derby with a high physical challenge, poor quality of play and very much dead ball time. Naturally, the tackles got tougher from time to time and the number of fouls increased. In addition, both teams had significant absences and injuries. Both teams wanted to draw at one point. Except for the provocations of Mert Hakan, there was no big issue in the derby. The players of the two teams congratulated each other in a gentlemanly manner at the end of the match.

Türkiye’de hep Fenerbahçe-Galatasaray derbileri ön plana çıkar, ama bana göre Beşiktaş’ın dahil olduğu derbilerin seyir zevki her zaman daha yüksek olmuştur. Fakat, 2021-2022 sezonunun bu son derbisinde lige havlu atmış Beşiktaş ve ikinciliği hemen hemen garantilemiş olan Fenerbahçe karşı karşıya geldi. Fiziksel mücadelesi yüksek, oyun kalitesi kötü, topun oyunda kalma süresi çok düşük olan bir derbi izledik. Doğal olarak ikili mücadeleler zaman zaman sertleşti ve faul sayısı arttı. Ayrıca, iki takımda da önemli eksiklikler ve sakatlıklar vardı. Bir yerden sonra iki takım da beraberliğe razı oldu. Mert Hakan’ın kışkırtmaları dışında derbide çok büyük olay olmadı. The squad structure and quality of both teams are insufficient, I think there will be big changes in the squads of both teams in the next season.
