Indeed, winning these arena tournaments is so difficult for the reasons you just pointed out, it's more likely to win for fast players, but in the flip side we still having fun xd

Yes, this time I just berserked and didn't care at all about the quality of the games. I will do that in Arena mode from now on ... My problem is just that others do that, too ... just faster than me. :)

Well, I understand you, I started beserking initially and I wasn't able to meet the speed while playing with a mouse. Am really fast with my mobile, But using a PC now, if I get beserked,I don't berserk back and I try to win faster (I berserk sometimes if the rating gap is much and if I play white).

But I noticed you play really well and lose on time, remember that game you binded me in my pirc opening, I still won on time. But I agree with you that @tungphong has benefited more from your speed issues, those endgames were painful.

Well, I am accustomed to it: I know that if I cannot reach a big middle game advantage, I will probably lose on time or make a big mistake due to time pressure. :)
Swiss-system tournaments without the berserk option are much easier for me to play, and I also like it, if the time control in Arena mode is so fast but with increment (like for example the 2+1) that the berserkers have problems to get enough points.
Of course rapid chess would be optimal for my playing style but I understand that's way too time consuming.

It's completely alright for me if the fast young players get the prizes (they can use the money very well, I guess), but sometimes from a chess players point of view it's annoying to throw away so many games in which I cannot convert my advantages.
