China has built the world's first wind-powered ship. The ship, named 'Brandshach', is another milestone in China's environmentally friendly shipbuilding technology. Measuring 250 meters long and 44 meters wide, this huge ship is a great example of modern engineering and environmental awareness. Its most notable feature is its three intelligently-controlled sails, each more than 40 meters long, which help the ship move with the help of wind power.

With this cutting-edge technology, 'Brandshach' will be able to transport more than 800,000 barrels of crude oil on each voyage. Not only that, its wind-assisted propulsion will help reduce daily fuel consumption by 14.5 tons and reduce annual carbon emissions by about 5,000 tons, which is a huge step in environmental protection.

The ship will be ready to sail on European routes on June 16. This success of 'Brandshach' is expected to further encourage the use of environmentally friendly technologies in the global shipbuilding industry and play an important role in global efforts to reduce carbon emissions.
