Greetings, friends of the healthy lifestyle, where we keep moving with the physical activities we enjoy. Today, I'm showing you a walk through an iconic place in my city. The Manzanares River crosses the city center and flows into the Gulf of Cariaco in the Caribbean Sea.

It originates in the Turimiquire mountain range, which is a mountainous area with elevations of 2,200 meters above sea level. It is considered the lungs of the city since it is located in the center of the city and is easily accessible, where we can enjoy nature while shopping and running errands in the city.

While walking, I crossed over to Guaqueri Park, where I was able to stand on the banks of this river and observe its waters and current, surrounded by tall trees that are thousands of years old. This river has suffered several floods due to heavy rains.

A few days ago, there was a storm, and of course, the river rose and overflowed, leaving many families homeless and with material losses in the town of Cumanacoa. Fortunately, nothing happened in the city of Cumaná, so I came to this place to enjoy its natural landscapes. As I walked, I listened to the birds and felt the freshness of this environment. That's all for now, my adventurous friends at Actifit.

El Río Manzanares el cual cruza el centro d ela cuidad y que desemboca en el golfo de Cariaco en el mar caribe. Nace en la serranía del Turimiquire, la cual es una zona montañosa con elevaciones de 2200 metros sobre el nivel del mar. Es considerado el pulmón de la cuidad puesto que está ubicado en el centro de la cuidad y es de facil acceso, donde podemos disfrutar de esta naturaleza mientras hacemos compras y diligencias de la cuidad, mientras caminaba cruce hacia el parque Guaqueri, donde pude estar a orillas de este rio y observar sus aguas y corriente, rodeado de arboles altos con miles años de antiguedad, este rio ha sufrido de varios desbordamientos por las lluvias, hace unos dias se presento una tormenta n 48 y por su puesto este rio crecio y se desbordo dejando a muchas familias sin viviendas y perdidas materiales, en el poblado de Cumanacoa. Afortunadamnte en la cuidad de Cumaná no sucedio nada, Así que me vine a este lugar a disfrutar de sus paisajes naturales mientras caminaba escuchaba los pájaros y sentia el frescor de este ambiente.
