Lo veo posible, pero hay muchos factores de por medio, los cuales no son nada positivo para su carrera y siento que el reto esta en un nivel muy alto.

Kamaru Usman debe conseguir la revancha contra Leon Edwards, lo mas pronto posible para asegurar una probabilidad de volver a lo mas alto, porque de no conseguirlo, pienso que será muy complicado verlo nuevamente con el cinturón y ahora mismo debería estar negociando la trilogía con la UFC. Nadie puede negar que se lo deben, Usman ha sido el mejor peleador del ranking global, seria muy injusto para todo su legado no ofrecerle una revancha inmediata y que tratara de reivindicarse.
Lo complicado esta en la condición medica, después de un KO recibido de esa magnitud, obligatoriamente el peleador debe permanecer fuera por 6 meses y eso es mucho tiempo. Estaríamos hablando de aproximadamente 8 meses para volver a verlo en un octágono, Leon Edwards siendo el nuevo campeón, realmente no creo que desee esperar tanto y aquí esta el primer factor negativo que veo para Usman. Una vez gano la batalla Edwards, comenzó a decir el nombre de Jorge Masvidal y hay rumores de un posible combate en Diciembre.
La UFC organizando un combate contra Masvidal, estaría dejando por fuera de la ecuación a Kamaru Usman y considerando su edad seria un duro golpe. El hombre de Nigeria cumple 36 años en 2023, lleva en su cuerpo muchas lesiones y tener que remar desde atrás nuevamente seria el otro factor negativo. EL ex campeón no esta para pelear por una oportunidad, se arriesgaría a otra derrota que lo llevaría al hoyo y lo mas lógico seria ir directamente otra vez a pelear por el titulo. Van 2 peleas contra Leon Edwards, una victoria por cada lado, hay que definir esta rivalidad y la 3ra batalla es lo que necesita Kamaru Usman.
En el último enfrentamiento, Kamaru Usman llego con mucho favoritismo, se esperaba una victoria fácil y nadie confiaba en Leon Edwards. Yo estaba en esa linea, además la pelea lo estaba demostrando, no había alternativa para Leon Edwards y la única salvación seria el KO que pudo lograr. Lo mejor seria una revancha, pero esta vez no será tan favorito, habrá que darle muchas mas opciones a Leon Edwards y Kamaru Usman perdiendo nuevamente seria el final de su carrera.

"Se que se esta trabajando en la trilogía. Creo que puede vencer a Leon Edwards. Pero mucha gente no se recupera de esa clase de KO. Seria una trilogía interesante de ver, van 1-1". Estas fueron las palabras del invicto y ex campeón Khabib Nurmagomédov y en mi opinión tiene mucha razón. Tenemos el ejemplo de Cody Garbrandt, un campeón con un talento fuera de lo común, quizás de los mejores estilos que se hayan visto en la UFC, no había forma de superar su velocidad y nadie le podía ganar.
Cody pierde el titulo ante un TKO, luego de eso su carrera se vino abajo, actualmente lleva 4 derrotas por KO después de eso y actualmente esta fuera del ranking. Podemos nombrar a Luke Rockhold, otro campeón que perdió el titulo por medio de un KO y seguido de esa derrota recibió dos mas. Hay muchos casos parecidos, Tony Ferguson puede ser incluido, otro hombre que viene con una racha de muchas derrotas y todo comenzó cuando Gaethje le propino una paliza.
Los castigos en las MMA, son de mucha seriedad, hay que ver como vuelve Kamaru Usman, pero Khabib sabe mucho de lo que habla, no cualquier peleador puede regresar después de eso y mucho menos cuando ya no estas joven. La mandíbula pierde resistencia, la asimilación de golpes cambia y los peleadores se vuelven mas frágiles. Usman asegura que volverá con mas fuerza y en busca de venganza, habrá que comprobarlo, todavía confió en el ex campeón, aun tiene tiempo de regresar y ganar ante Leon Edwards para recuperar el cinturón.

Khamzat Chimaev vs Kamaru Usman
Podemos quedarnos sin una pelea espectacular, batalla que tanto se a estado esperando y particularmente pienso que probablemente no suceda. Todos los espectadores deseamos ver a Chimaev, contra Usman en un combate, ambos tienen un nivel excelente de grappling, los dos son muy fuertes y se esperaba una lucha de titanes. El gran prospecto de la UFC, Khamzat Chimaev que me encanta, para mi el único que podía vencer al nigeriano, aunque nos dimos cuenta que no era así y Leon Edwards termino sorprendiendo al mundo entero.

A los fanáticos nos va doler perdernos esta batalla, pero lamentablemente parece que no será posible o por lo menos las probabilidades están muy chicas.

Creo y es totalmente mi punto de vista que, kamaru se va a reponer de esto y probablemente será un mejor peleador de lo que era, estamos hablando de un tipo que ha tenido que trabajar muy duro para llegar a donde está y claro que la patada que revivió le movió el mundo pero para mi no ha dejado de ser el goat actual y ojo! Realmente no soy fan de este peleador.
Yo tampoco soy muy fan, no me gusta su actitud, pero también veo que puede recuperarse, todo lo que ha hecho es grandioso y me hace entender que es uno de los más grandes y los grandes pueden levantarse.
