Primer evento del año concluido, debo decir que estuvo increíble, muchos combates de gran entretenimiento, sorpresas y peleas estelares de buen nivel. Mi única crítica, sería contra el público de Brasil, no se comportaron a la altura de la situación, trataron de manera irrespetuosa al nuevo campeón de las 125 libras y luego dejaron los asientos vacíos a Glover Teixeira. Después, se quejan del porqué la UFC no viene más seguido a Latinoamérica, pésimo estuvieron los fanáticos esta noche.

En las apuestas estaba mínimamente favorito Hill, aunque los comentaristas y grandes analistas del MMA, tenían como ganador a Glover Teixeira. A pesar de sus 43 años de edad, el veterano cuenta con una gran experiencia y enorme lucha que lo colocaba en ventaja. Sobre Jamahal Hill se esperaba una victoria por nocaut, quizás sea el hombre que más duro pega en la división. Al final, nadie acerto, hubo un desenlace completamente distinto, siendo una sorpresa para algunos, Jamahal Hill domino a Glover durante 5 asaltos.

La pelea comenzó con un ritmo alto, Hill fue al frente desde el arranque, rápidamente conecto buenos golpes, Glover Teixeira sintió la pegada y aquí se podía ver un poco de lo que sería toda la batalla. El striking de Jamahal Hill es muy superior, no había alternativas para Glover de pie, necesitaba conseguir un derribo, llevar al suelo a Hill, lo cual intento hacer, pero no pudo conseguir, Jamahal vino con una excelente preparación, la defensa contra derribos fue perfecta.
Se comentaba que una vez Glover consiguiera el derribo, conseguiría la victoria, pensamiento que yo también compartía, Jamahal Hill en UFC263, tuvo una derrota, la única que tiene en su carrera, fue contra Paul Craig, un excelente grappler, hombre que le fracturo el brazo. Siguiendo este precedente, sabiendo que Glover es un mejor luchador, podíamos creer que pasaría una situación similar, Teixeira dominaría con facilidad en el piso, pero no, Jamahal Hill se levantó cuando estuvo abajo y no dejo que Glover trabajara en el suelo.

Aunque, no me gusto, había un 4-0 claro, la única forma de ganar para Glover, sería por medio de una sumisión o un nocaut, lo que estaba muy difícil de suceder. ¿Para qué salir y recibir más castigo? Es innecesario, pero también vimos que Glover dejo el resto en el último round, logro un derribo y casi se coloca en una posición de gran ventaja. Respeto y admiración hacia Glover, posee un corazón y una garra de guerrero fascinante.

En lo personal no me gustó la pelea ni esa ni la pelea de las chicas ...fueron desde mi punto de vista, dos masacres porque ninguno de los que perdieron representaron nunca una amenaza para sus oponentes...ya por su avanzada edad parará los deportes de combate no tienen mucho más que ofrecer más que sus conocimientos...se veían lentos y débiles frente a sus oponentes. . .la pelea de Brandon por otro lado, me encantó.
La pelea de Jessica, realmente fue una super masacre, tenia tiempo que no veía una paliza de esa magnitud. Jamahal Hill, en gran parte también le dio una paliza a Glover, solo que el veterano seguía siendo peligroso, incluso logro un derribo en el 5to asalto que asusto a todos. Pero, viendo la batalla en general, tienes razón. Y sobre Brandon, pronto hablare de ese combate, me encanto como lucio, sin duda, un gran guerrero y excelente campeón.
