RE: Do we need a new FIFA (FC) every year?

The same can be said for basically any sport game. Often, when the next year's game is released the only thing that has changed is the roster or perhaps they add even more convoluted and difficult controls to the mix. I fell out with all sports games years ago because the companies seemed to get greedy and didn't really even change anything. It could be a DLC to get updated rosters, it doesn't need to be a $70 game with stupid season passes.
