A lot of franchises spent massive money during the auction, but some of the league's biggest stars have completely lost their form. Let's look at the actual stats behind the underperformers of this season.

1. Nicholas Pooran (Lucknow Super Giants)
   Known as one of the most dangerous T20 batsmen in the world, Pooran has experienced a shocking drop in form for LSG.
   The Stats: He managed just 216 runs in his first 12 matches.
   The Impact: With a poor average of 19.64 and apart from one good innings against MI his failure completely exposed LSG’s middle order.

2. Hardik Pandya (Mumbai Indians)
   It has been a tough season for the MI captain, as both his leadership and his personal game have struggled.
   The Stats: He held a modest batting average of 20.85 with a strike rate of 136.44 through his first 8 games.
   The Impact: His bowling didn't help either. He avoided bowling heavy overs and leaked runs at a high economy rate of 11.90, picking up just 4 wickets.

   As a massive ₹27 crore signing for LSG, a lot was riding on Pant's shoulders, but he has struggled to find his usual rhythm.

   The Impact: His inability to anchor the innings left MI's top order looking highly vulnerable.

5. Cameron Green (KKR)
   Despite his huge ₹25.20 crore price tag, he failed to provide any "X-factor" impact, offering very little return on investment for KKR
