I don’t take my five best NBA Top Shot investment choices lightly at all.

We aren’t all as lucky as Top Shot user ‘jesse’, who has the money to splash $208k on a rare LeBron James ‘Cosmic’ dunk moment.
For the rest of us who are apart of the Top Shot mania craze we’re looking for something a bit more affordable to buy as an investment.

You can’t go wrong with any Series 1 moments. They’re the sports card equivalent of a players rookie cards.

So here it is, my five best NBA top shot investment moments that are a must buy.

Donte DiVincenzo – Dec 14 2019 (Series 1) #/3999

Donte ranked as my third most disappointing NBA player of 2021 to date. Although he’s failed to live up to expectations, he’s the starting shooting guard for a contender. The determination in his game will also take him places.

But there’s no denying how insane his drive and monster jam against the Cavaliers was.

It was good enough to get the entire Bucks bench off their seats and the Top Shot moment starts off my five best NBA Top Shot investment moments.

John Collins – Feb 12 2020 (Series 1) #/3999

I love John Collins. Maybe it’s because of his Polynesian tattoo, just like my own

Real talk, he’s a player with immense upside no matter where he’ll end up in the future.

This moment is pure filth. An alley from rookie Cam Reddish finding John Collins for the tomahawk slam, putting Andre Drummond of all people, on a poster in the process.

Christian Wood – Dec 1 2019 (Series 1) #/3339

Christian Wood sports cards exploded 1200% in a little over 8-months and I was lucky enough to get in on the action early.

Before he was relevant, he was holding the Detroit Pistons on his shoulders.

In a rare Pistons’ highlight, he threw the hammer down on Drew Eubanks with absolutely zero regard for him.

Wood is one of my favourite players. If his sports card rise is anything to go by, this should be a great hold.

Michael Porter Jr – Sep 7 2020 (Series 1) #/3288

We’re starting to hit expensive territory but there’s good reason why.

This moment is absolute fire and it was hard not to make this my best NBA top shot moment investment.

MPJ murders Montrezl Harrell in this moment. Dead.

It was a poster dunk with significance. A playoff game against the Clippers, in a series they’d ultimately win in a monumental upset.

Ben Simmons – Aug 3 2020 (Series 1) #/2681

Yes, I’m going with an assist as my best NBA top shot moment investment. Lame?

No.

It’s one of the best assists you’ll see, so much so, the commentators had no clue in the world wtf happened.

Simmons is criminally underrated and these should explode once people realize what’s infront of us.

Thank goodness Thybulle banked the three, otherwise we’d be disowning him as an Aussie.

I’ll be waiting for Simmons first three-pointer moment.

That’s going to be priceless moment.
