8. Marcus Rashford

Rashford has been finding himself switching between a number nine and the freedom of playing out wider as a left forward. His at his most dangerous when he's played into space and running behind defences.

We've seen a new version of Rashford who has an increasing tendency for placement over shot power compared to earlier on in his career. He's also running into the box more often and getting harder to defend with quicker, more powerful runs.

We've always known Rashford to be a fast and agile player with strong dribbling, vision and passing ability. As he continues to expand on his game he's climbing up the rankings as one of the best strikers in the world.

At the end of the day it seems most people have forgotten the role of a striker. A strikers role is to score goals, the addition of being able to hold up play and all the little stuff is an added advantage to the team.

I think Mbappe fully deserves the first position and Halaand too but in my opinion Osimhen should be somewhere in the top 5. The guy is on red hot form and I think his form is even better than Lewandowski.

Osimhen is an absolute weapon. I think Lewa's probably helped slightly by the fact he plays for Barca. You're right in the sense that the primary weapon of a striker is to bang in those goals. Especially in the current day, quicker strikers getting behind the line is the more common prototype compared to the older school striker holding up the ball

Yep that’s true. Being in those kind of clubs always help you in such a beautiful way. I think when Osimhen goes to a bigger club he will be known and rated even more.

Might have Lautaro Martínez in there ahead of Immobile who I think has probably passed his best now

This will be the most difficult post to come out with. All these strikers have had their moments and are great. I like the way you were able to position them
