The Reasons Why We All Hate Manchester United (Part 2)

G'day tribe yesterday I posted my disdain for Manchester United! I whinged about how United fans are glory hunters, how United players are historically dirty and how United is overall anti-football! You check out that post here. Well here I am back with the final reasons why we haters, hate United!

Referee Bias

We all hate Manchester United because the bias referees who award them with favourable decisions. Referees seem to get very nervous particularly near the penalty area at Old Trafford.

Who can forget Michael Owen's 2009 Manchester derby winner? He scored the winner in the 96th minute of the game. The fourth official had flagged for four minutes of injury time and there was nothing during the period to suggest any more time should've been played.

Even former Premier League referee Mark Clattenburg admitted that referees have a bias towards Manchester United and particularly during Sir Alex Ferguson's era at Old Trafford.

12 years ago today, Michael Owen scored an injury-time winner as United beat City 4-3 in one of the greatest derby games. 🟥 pic.twitter.com/nTnwr9pDnF

Red Devils Dominance

A generation of fans hate Manchester United because of how good they were under Sir Alex Ferguson. You've got to give them credit. Manchester United won 13 English Premier League titles and two Champions Leagues in a 26-year period under Sir Alex Ferguson.

For those who grew up during the era not following the Red Devils, it only grew our hate for them even further. What makes our blood boil even more is that the United fan base is one of the most negative. Even after 13 titles in 26 years?

STFU already.

The top five most negative Premier League fanbases on Twitter... 👀

1. Newcastle (29.6% of tweets are negative) 2. Leeds United (29.3%) 3. Manchester United (28%) 4. Leicester City (27.9%) 5. Norwich (27.5%) Credit: https://t.co/kUlbi0YXrF — SPORTbible (@sportbible) March 25, 2022

There is no doubt Manchester United accomplish great things in the past, but their fans are very egoistic they claim to be the best even at their worst.

I know a few United fans personally and they've been "supporting the Red Devils since they were born". Lol

I think the domiance in tha last years has faded away. In the past two years, ManU was more like a joke club to many in my friendgroup (Espeiclayy because of Maguire to be honest). But your arguments make a lot of sense, why people would hate ManU.

I think you should do a Chelsea one, msut be very hard for you if you are a fan :P

Haha yep probably need a United fan to make a rebutted post back to me. I couldn't say a bad word about "Chelski".

I think United will find some balance but it goes to show just how good Sir Alex was
