Y'know, I live in the US, but am Canadian at heart. I remember watching with glee - and then some disappointment - the most recent World Cup where Canada was bounced out so quickly. It was their first time making an appearance in the World Cup since 1988, and they were quickly sent packing.
Alas.
I suppose we'll always have ice hockey.

Talk about a group of death, it's hard enough to get out of group at the best of times, but getting lumped in with Croatia and Morocco who both made it to the semi finals and Belgium who were really fancied and have an array of talent was tough going. Even though ye lost all 3 games, ye played well and were unlucky to be put in that group.
