Pokémon Community Day: August 8 2020
Hallo Steemians, HivePeople und Actifitter,
Die Temperaturen stiegen heute noch einmal höher als gestern. Für alle Aktivitäten draussen war es zu heiss. Trotzdem sind wir (Töchterchen und ich) Vormittags los marschiert um den heutigen Pokemon Community-Day zu nutzen um endlich einen Karpador zu entwickeln.
In den Tagen zuvor hatten wir schon einiges an Bällen und Beeren gehortet um möglichst schnell an das Ziel zu kommen. Hierfür haben wir fast eine feste Strecke die wir laufen, an denen man an Pokestops und an ein paar Arenen vorbeikommt. Nach rund einer Stunde und einem Aufenthalt in der Eisdiele hatten wir das Ziel erreicht und hirbei sogar 6 Shiny Karpadore gefangen.
Zurück zu Hause ging es direkt in den Pool zum Abkühlen. Sonst kann man an solchen Tagen wenig machen. Ich bin recht froh, dass wir einen grosen Garten mit kleinem Pool haben. Die Freibäder können momentan aufgrund der Corona-Einschränkungen nicht vollumfänglich öffnen. Bei uns werden nur 800 am Tag reingelassen und man muss die Karten vorab im internet bestellen. Andernorts (Hagen) scheint es hier schon regelrechte Ausschreitungen vor dem Freibad gegeben zu haben.

The temperatures rose even higher today than yesterday. It was too hot for all outdoor activities. Nevertheless, we (little daughter and I) marched off in the morning to use today's Pokemon Community Day to finally develop a Magikarp.
In the days before we had already hoarded a lot of balls and berries in order to get to the goal as quickly as possible. For this we have almost a fixed route that we walk, where we pass Pokestops and a few arenas. After about an hour and a stay in the ice cream parlor, we had reached our destination and even caught 6 Shiny Karpadore.
Back home, we went straight to the pool to cool off. Otherwise there is nothing else you can do on days like this. I am very happy that we have a large garden with a small pool. The swimbath cannot currently open fully due to the corona restrictions.
