Jedes Jahr im September kommt unser Holzlieferant und kippt mir einen Haufen Brennholz vor die Garage damit wir es im Winter auch immer schön warm haben. Der ganze Haufen muss dann mühsam mit der Schubkarre nach hinten in den Holzunterstand gebracht werden.
Heute war es mal wieder soweit und in knapp 2,5 Stunden war 95% des Haufens im Holzunterstand gestapelt. Leider konnte ich die Arbeiten nicht abschließen, da die Sonne Feierabend machte und mich in der Dunkelheit zurück ließ.
Die restlichen 5% werde ich wohl Morgen erledigen müssen.

Every year in September our wood supplier comes and dumps a pile of firewood in front of my garage so that we always have it nice and warm in winter. The whole pile must then be laboriously brought with the wheelbarrow to the back of the wood shelter.
Today it was time again and in just under 2.5 hours 95% of the pile was stacked in the wood shelter. Unfortunately, I was not able to complete the work as the sun called it a day and left me in the dark.
I guess I will have to do the remaining 5% tomorrow.

Die Arbeit habe ich noch vor mir aber ich hab’s nicht so bequem wie du. Ich hab noch die großen Baumstämme die ich erst mal spalten, sägen und hacken muss.
Aber ein schönes Holzfeuer im Winter im Kaminofen oder Kachelofen ist schon was feines.
Viele Bekannte und Freunde machen es auch so, aber die heizen auch hauptsächlich mit Holz. Bei mir ist es nur für die Übergangszeit und unterstützend.
Sehr gut so schön fleißig zu sein, dann macht das Füße hochlegen doppelten Spaß, da wünsche ich dir eine schöne warme Zeit gerade wenns kalt ist.
