Im Moment bin ich mit meiner Frau und Tochter noch im Urlaub in Bayern unterwegs.

Gestern haben wir bei schönem Wetter eine kleine Wanderung zum Frillensee (Inzell) gemacht.

Der Frillensee liegt auf eine Höhe von 922m über NHN. Aufgrund der um den Frillensee herum aufragenden Berge und Felsmassive liegt der See in den Wintermonaten im Schatten, da die tiefstehende Sonne diese nicht überwindet.

Der Frillensee gilt daher als der kälteste See Mitteleuropas. Der See war in der Vergangenheit (1960) sogar Austragungsort der Deutschen Eisschnellaufmeisterschaften und auch Anni Friesinger hat hier in jungen Jahren bereits die Kufen aufs Eis gesetzt.

Auch als wir gestern dort waren, war der See fast komplett zugefroren. Nur im Uferbereich war der See nicht gefroren.
