My Actifit Report Card: June 25 2023

Guten Abend liebe Leute,

Heute ist der zweite Tag unseres Urlaubs auf Ameland. Das Wetter hier war den ganzen Tag über sehr sonnig und mit etwa 25°C auch ziemlich warm. Daher haben wir heute fast den ganzen Tag am Strand verbracht. Zwischendurch sind wir zur Abkühlung immer ins Wasser gegangen.
Richtig Schwimmen kann man hier leider nicht. Der Strand ist hier so seicht, daß man lange laufen muss, bis das Wasser hierzu tief genug ist.

Für Morgen ist eine Fahrradtour zum Leuchtturm geplant. Davon werde ich dann mal ein paar mehr Fotos machen und berichten.

Good evening dear people,

Today is the second day of our vacation on Ameland. The weather here was very sunny all day and with about 25°C also quite warm. Therefore, we have spent today almost the whole day on the beach. In between we always went into the water to cool down.
Unfortunately, you can't really swim here. The beach is so shallow that you have to walk a long time until the water is deep enough.

For tomorrow, a bike ride to the lighthouse is planned. Of this I will make then times a few more photos and report.

I grew up in the Widwest of the US.

Lots of fields of grain (oats, wheat, etc.). Like the song goes, "Amber waves of grain!"
