La celebración de la "Semana Santa" durante años se ha aprovechado para realizar un torneo de beisbol entre los curarigueños y todos los caseríos aledaños. El campo está ubicado en un caserío llamado "Santo Domingo". Quizás es una zona intermedia en los largos kilómetros que compone el valle.

Lo cierto que de donde estamos ubicados, toca realizar una larga caminata que incluye pasar varios cerros y hasta cruzar el río para poder llegar.

Lo mejor es que el día sábado se jugó la gran final entre "Santo Domingo" y "Campo Alegre". Quedamos campeones de un largo campeonato que comienza meses atrás y termina en estos días de vacaciones. "Campo Alegre" volvió a alzar el campeonato y reafirmar los que fueron los años de antaño, cuando nuestro equipo era casi imbatible en cualquiera de las categorías.

Fue un día largo, pero de muchas satisfacciones. Logre captar a algunos de los jugadores más destacados del partido, una foto grupal del equipo junto a toda la fanaticada asistente y lo mejor fue el regreso feliz cuando íbamos cruzando el río para retornar a casa.

The celebration of "Semana Santa" (Holy Week) has been used for years to hold a baseball tournament between the Curarigueños and all the surrounding villages. The field is located in a hamlet called "Santo Domingo". Perhaps it is an intermediate zone in the long kilometers that make up the valley.

The truth is that from where we are located, it is a long walk that includes passing several hills and even crossing the river to get there.

The best thing is that on Saturday the great final was played between "Santo Domingo" and "Campo Alegre". We were champions of a long championship that began months ago and ends in these days of vacation. "Campo Alegre" won the championship again and reaffirmed the years of yesteryear, when our team was almost unbeatable in any of the categories.

It was a long day, but of many satisfactions. I managed to capture some of the most outstanding players of the game, a group photo of the team with all the fans in attendance and the best part was the happy return when we were crossing the river to return home.
