Taking a Walk
Today was one of those days when the overcast sky allowed me to go out freely and walk the streets of my city. Initially, I was looking for some groceries, but due to circumstances, my plans changed and I had to run several personal errands. However, taking advantage of the pleasant weather, I didn't mind walking to the different destinations I had planned.
Dando una Vuelta Hoy fue uno de esos días en los que el cielo encapotado me permitió salir con total libertad a caminar por las calles de mi ciudad. Inicialmente, iba en la búsqueda de algunos víveres, pero por cuestiones de la vida, los planes cambiaron y me tocó realizar diversas diligencias del tipo personal. Pero aprovechando que se trataba de un día agradable, no percibí mayor problema en caminar hacia los diferentes destinos que tenía previsto.
This small city has the advantage of having all its locations within walking distance, since the distances are relatively short, and I must admit that I am also used to walking constantly, so I don't find this activity complex or problematic. On the contrary, I do it willingly and with the mindset that it is something that benefits my body and spirit.
Esta pequeña ciudad tiene la ventaja de contar con todas sus locaciones al alcance de un paso, puesto que las distancias son relativamente cortas y realmente debo admitir que yo también estoy acostumbrado a caminar de manera constante, por lo cual no encuentro en esta actividad nada complejo ni problemático, al contrario, lo hago con buena voluntad y con la mente puesta en que se trata de algo que beneficia a mi cuerpo y espíritu.
I spent the whole morning moving in various directions, going into multiple businesses and bumping into various friends by chance. I must admit that it was a busy but pleasant day, where I did not feel overwhelmed by the weather conditions and where I was able to move around freely, accomplishing everything I had planned, and then return home to enjoy a cozy home where I could calmly recover the energy I had lost during the physical exertion of the day.
Dure toda la mañana desplazándome en varias direcciones, entrando en múltiples negocios y por casualidad encontrándome con diversos amigos, debo admitir que se trató de un día atareado, pero agradable, en donde no me sentí agobiado por las condiciones climáticas y en donde me puedes desplazar libremente cumpliendo con todo lo previsto, para luego regresar a casa y disfrutar de un hogar acogedor en donde con mucha tranquilidad pude recobrar las energías perdidas durante el esfuerzo físico de este día.
