Eka Gallery - Skate Art Exhibition

Long time no see! I have not made any posts for a long time. But recently I had a thought of writing about this new Skate art excibition

EKA stands for Eesti Kunstiakadeemia, which is Estonian Academy of Arts in English.
It's Estonia's main public university for art, design, architecture, media, visual studies, art history, and conservation. Located in Tallinn, it's basically the country's leading art school where students study everything from painting and sculpture to design, architecture, and contemporary art practices. The gallery mentioned in the article is their exhibition space where students and visiting artists show their work.

The exhibition is called "We Need More Indoor Spaces." In Tallinn, Estonia – a place with many freezing cold months – it's hard to skate when we don't have any indoor skateparks. Except for one that's run by a friend of mine, Mikael Parman, called Keerdtrepp. But since it's in an old building with no insulation, it can be just as freezing inside.

Here you can se my clothing to keep myslef warm. Still after this session I told myself I was not going back there. I am from brazil and skating on negative degrees was not something that I look foward again soon xd

Surely people from here fo there still, but i will wait for warmer days, or if i reallly want to then i go, but for now that Eka Spot is very nice and toasty. I do miss some transition skating there tho.
