Hello friends, Former Indian opener right-handed batsman Chetan Chauhan died today at the age of 73 due to coronavirus. Chetan Chauhan was born on 21 July 1947 in Meerut India and today he died on 16 August 2020 due to Coronavirus in Gurugram, Haryana. According to the report, on July 12, he got his corona test, and the corona report came positive, after which he was admitted to Sanjay Gandhi PGI of Lucknow, though he was suffering from kidney-related diseases, due to which the health was deteriorating.

Chetan Chauhan batted opener for a long time in a 12-year cricket career with Sunil Gavaskar. Chetan Chauhan played the first Test match against New Zealand on 25 September 1969 and the last Test match against New Zealand on 13 April 1981, during which he scored 2048 runs, 16 half-centuries in 40 Tests. He played the first ODI match with Pakistan on 1 October 1978 and the last ODI match with New Zealand on 15 February 1981, during which he scored 153 runs in 7 ODI matches.
After that he also joined politics from Bharatiya Janata Party, he was also a member of the lower house of the parliament in 1981 and 1998.
