Indian bowling power beat South Africa by 7 wickets to seal the series by 2-1.

The 3rd and final ODI Match of the South Africa tour of India, 2022 played yesterday at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi. In which India beat South Africa by 7 wickets to seal the series by 2-1.

India won the toss and elect to field first, South African batted first and started the inning very badly the entire team dismissed in just 99 runs in the first ball of the 28th over, Heinrich Klaasen scored 34 runs in 42 balls, Janneman Malan dismissed just for 15 runs in 27 balls, Marco Jansen 14 runs in 19 balls, apart from this, Aiden Markram dismissed just for 9 runs, David Miller 7 runs, Quinton de Kock 6 runs, Andile Phehlukwayo 5 runs, Reeza Hendricks 3 runs, Bjorn Fortuin 1 run,
Anrich Nortje was dismissed without scoring and Lungi Ngidi remains unbeaten without scoring. In this way, wickets continuously failed one after another, and end of the result the entire team was all out just for 99 runs in 27.1 overs and set an easy target of 100 runs in front of South Africa.

Indian bowlers performed very brilliant bowling, Kuldeep Yadav took 4 wickets just for 18 runs, Washington Sundar took 2 wickets for 15 runs, Mohammed Siraj took 2 wickets for 17 runs and Shahbaz Ahmed took 2 wickets for 32 runs.

India chasing 100 runs in the second inning archived the target very easily by losing just 9 wickets in 1st ball of the 20th over. India started the inning very well, Shikhar Dhawan and Shubman Gill came to start the inning and gave a good start with a partnership of 42 runs for the first wicket, the first wicket has gone for 42 runs in the first ball of the 7th over, and next batsman Ishan Kishan came to bat and he dismissed after few moments just for 10 runs as the second wicket in 10.4 over, next batsman Shreyas Iyer came to bat and played well with Shubman Gill, the third wicket has gone for 97 runs in the second ball of the 19th over, Shubman Gill dismissed after playing a very brilliant inning of 49 runs with the help of 8 boundaries in 57 balls, followed by Sanju Samson came to bat and he remains unbeaten for 2 runs with Shreyas Iyer, and Shreyas Iyer played unbeaten victory inning of 28 runs with the help 2 sixes and 3 boundaries in 23 balls. In this way, India chased the target very easily by losing just 3 wickets in 19.1 overs and won the match by 7 wickets to seal the series by 2-1.

South Africa bowlers Lungi Ngidi and Bjorn Fortuin got 1-1 wicket.

Indian bowler Kuldeep Yadav was selected as the best player of the match and, he performed very brilliantly bowling took 4 wickets just for 18 runs.
