Jordan Thompson helps London Spirit beats Manchester Originals by 52 runs in 6th match of The Hundred Mens Competition 2022.

The 6th Match of The Hundred Mens Competition 2022 was played yesterday bitween London Spirit and Manchester Originals at Lord's, London, in which London Spirit won the match by 52 runs.

London Spirit batted first after winning the toss, Zak Crawley and Adam Rossington came to start the inning, the first wicket has gone for 9 runs in 7 balls, Adam Rossington dismissed without scoring, next batsman Glenn Maxwell came to bat and played well with Zak Crawley, the second wicket has gone for 51 runs in 37th ball, Glenn Maxwell dismissed for 21 runs in 15 balls, next batsman Eoin Morgan came to bat handled the inning and played a very brilliant half-century partnership of 54 runs with Zak Crawley, the third wicket has gone for 105 runs in 70 balls, Zak Crawley dismissed after playing a very brilliant inning of 41 runs with the help of 2 sixes and 3 boundaries in just 34 balls, followed by Kieron Pollard came to bat, after few moments the fourth wicket has also gone for 111 runs in 79 balls, Eoin Morgan dismissed after scoring 37 runs with the help of 3 sixes and 1 boundary in just 26 balls, next batsman Jordan Thompson came to bat and he dismissed just for 2 runs in 84th ball as fifth wicket, the team score was 120 runs, next batsman Ravi Bopara came to bat and he also dismissed very quickly just for 9 runs in 91st ball as sixth wicket, the team score was 136 runs, followed by Liam Dawson came to bat and he remains unbeaten for 3 runs with Kieron Pollard, and Kieron Pollard played a very brilliant unbeaten quick inning of 34 runs with the help of 4 sixes and 1 boundary in just 11 balls, in this way London Spirit scored 160 runs after losing 6 wickets in 100 balls and set a target of 161 runs for Manchester Oroginals.

Manchester Oroginals' bowlers Paul Walter took 2 wickets for 18 runs, Sean Abbott, Matthew Parkinson, and Tom Hartley got 1-1 wicket.

Manchester Originals chasing 161 runs in the second inning the entire team dismissed just for 108 runs in 98th ball of the inning and lost the match by 52 runs. Manchester Originals stated the inning not very well, Philip Salt scored 36 runs in 34 balls, Tom Hartley remains unbeaten for 17 runs, Sean Abbott dismissed for 10 runs, apart from this no any batsman could touch figure out of 10, Wayne Madsen dismissed for 9 runs, Jos Buttler 6 runs, Matthew Parkinson 6 runs, Andre Russell 5 runs, Laurie Evans 3 runs, Paul Walter 3 runs, Fred Klassen 2 runs, and Tristan Stubbs 1 run, in this way, wickets continuously failed one after another, and end of the result the entire team all-out just for 108 runs in 98th ball of the inning and lost the match by a big margin of 52 runs.

London Spirit bowler Jordan Thompson performed very brilliant bowling, he took 4 wickets just for 21 runs in 20 balls, Mason Crane took 2 wickets for 21 runs in 18 balls, and Liam Dawson took 2 wickets for 27 runs, and Chris Wood got 1 wicket.

London Spirit's bowler Jordan Thompson was selected as the best player of the match, he performed very brilliant bowling and took 4 wickets just for 21 runs in 20 balls.
