The 7th Match of the Big Bash League 2021-22 was played yesterday between Melbourne Stars and Sydney Thunder at Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne, In which Melbourne Stars beats Sydney Thunder by 4 runs.

Sydney Thunder won the toss and invited Melbourne Stars to bat first, started the inning not very well, Marcus Stoinis and Joe Clarke came to start the inning, the first wicket has gone for 18 runs in last ball of the 3rd over, Joe Clarke dismissed after scoring 13 runs in 12 balls, next batsman Glenn Maxwell came to bat, after few moments the second wicket has also gone for 31 runs in third ball of the 5th over, Marcus Stoinis dismissed after scoring 13 runs in 13 balls, next batsman Nick Larkin came to bat, and handled the inning with Glenn Maxwell, the third wicket has gone for 61 runs in third ball of the 10th over, Glenn Maxwell dismissed after scoring 16 runs in 16 balls, followed by Hilton Cartwright came to bat, handled the inning and played a brilliant half-century partnership of 80 runs with Nick Larkin, the fourth wicket has gone for 141 runs in fourt ball of the 18th over, Hilton Cartwright dismissed after playing a brilliant inning of 42 runs with the help of 2 sixes and 3 boundaries in just 30 balls, next batsman Andre Russell came to bat, and finish the inning very brilliantly with Nick Larkin, Nick Larkin played a very brillilant unbeaten half-century inning of 52 runs with the help of 5 boundaries in 43 balls, and Andre Russell also played a brilliant unbeaten quick inning of 17 runs with the help of 2 boundaries in just 9 balls. In this way, Melbourne Stars batted first after losing the toss, scored 165 runs for losing just 4 wickets in stipulated 20 overs, and set a target of 166 runs in front of Sydney Thunder.
