#SublimeSunday - Stupid Smarch Weather!
A little jiu jitsu training with a buddy from your bubble is just what the doctor ordered on a rainy cold windy late March Sunday. I feel for the folks who don’t have access to a facility like this for the last year.
The weather is not as friendly as it has been the last week. Right downtown, there are not many people though enough going through their regular motions.
Proud, century-old buildings brave the prevailing winds in the center of town and welcome any stalwart customers who brave the elements.
The grey sky roils over businesses old and new.
We haven’t seen real tourists since 2019 so I do look odd, a fairly well known community figure snapping picture on my phone. I pay them no mind as it is content for boat loads of new hivers discovering our small town via the blockchain.
I keep discovering these little heart signs in random windows as citizens show their love to the front line workers and community leaders doing their thing so that we can be as safe and productive as possible.
Here is another one I notice lit up after dusk often. I think I should go on a walk and see how many of these I can see and tell the whole story.
I am feeling happy for the last couple weeks of mild temperatures on my drive home. This is the last trace of snow I can find as it hides in the shadows away from the sun most times of the day. Just a coating of dirt as most of the shoveled snow has melted away.
Later that evening, the dog wants out in the yard and I discover that last surprise snow that always seems to happen late March. I was right again this year after thinking we may be done.
I would tell you about this awesome Cajun smash burger but I am outta time and have to leave you hanging for the next chapter!

Oh that darn March snow! We always get at least one March snow, and often one in April as well - long after all the ice and snow from the winter has melted. It's like winter just has to have the last word!
So true! Yet so many people have seasonal amnesia here and seem to forget about it EVERY YEAR!
I though I may be wrong and then it happens on the second last day. I bet we get another in April.

Nice photos and just how spicy is that burger?! I thought we were in spring, but this afternoon, we found ourselves with temps in the mid 30's. It's been 50-55 degrees for the past week or so. You did well with your 5454 @actifit steps for the day. Take care!
Same! Now the snow I have been sagely warning not being done arrives! Wise old Zeke!
The burger is southern cajun spicy but not jalapeno or hotter challenging hot. Surprisingly tasty AND Vegetarian!
It looks pretty good! Vegi burgers have come a long way from when they first started. They were almost unpalatable! Take care!
Not cool how u show us that mouthwatering cajun burger but don't tell us anything about it.
So troll hahah
I prefer calling it foreshadowing or tossing up a cliff-hanger that will make the reader come back!
But yah ;)
A good count of steps, @zekepickleman!
Actifit to the Moon!
Nothing compared to your usual amount of steps but it was a day when most other doods were hibernating so not bad!
