A Wednesdaywalk with a little bit of everything

Tomorrow was supposed to be my big steps day! Just another day in the life of a digital marketer chained to the desk creating social media posts, ad campaigns and meeting with prospects.

As you can see, besides all that, I got a little lumberjacking too.

That tree you see on the curb in the first pic started in that big yellow spot in the back yard. Actually originated in the back corner where you see the stump I still have to deal with.

I found a great local tree guy with a chipper and a truck that charges by the hour. He had the whole thing gone in 45 minutes in part because a few thousand of my steps were spent carrying them from the back to the front. Tiring steps!

It wasn’t all hard labour though. I did get in some good desk time and then enjoyed a bit of an orchestral maneuver. My little one is in the local youth orchestra and this was the night for the concert they prepared for 6 months weekly. So great to see kids sounding so fantastic and spending time with the symphony orchestra members who coaches and mentored them.

After that, I owed a few thousand steps to someone else in the dog park. Everything is starting to bud and show signs of green as the ground dries up from early spring. We will most likely still be in for some random frost but are fully in spring and growth season.

This is as close as I got to capturing Runny McGee in a proper picture. He runs everywhere with a smile on his fuzzy face and barely slows to a stop. So many smells to smell, rodents to hunt, and dogs to war.

The sun has gone down on a pretty busy humpday! Tomorrow is promising another to be a back to back 10k day, all on the job.

I actually took down the tree with a friend a couple weeks ago. The cleanup and removal was almost a bigger undertaking. At least the garden will get more sun this year.

I remember taking down the tree with my dad as a kid, and the cleanup is definitely a bigger undertaking Lol😅😇

Oh ya! I did keep a few of the trunk pieces to split and dry and use for fire wood. We love camping and have a little fire pit to enjoy in the yard too.

That does indeed look like a busy day! Fun too. Don’t you wish sometimes that people could experience constant unbridled joy like dogs do? 😄

Jayna!! How have you been? Long time since the steemit bloggers huh!

Yes my little guy loves the park so much that he constantly bounces and runs and sniffs everywhere. An hour a day is a big commitment in a busy life but definitely time well spent for me.

For sure. A couple side projects on top of a full day at work makes for a good wedswalk.

That dog seems excited. Looks like he has missed you a lot😊
Lovely shot a sunset within the dry tress. Can't wait to see them develop leaves again.

Ya he starts to run around and make noise when he sees the slightest hint that I am prepping to take him out.

I too am looking forward to the growth and green of a warm summer.

Dogs are so excited when they go for a walk, aren't they XD It's like they are walking for the first time. I went to my uncle's the other day and his dog is crazy about walking too. Nice day man, you had fun 👋

Oh ya they unanimously love it to the point you can’t say the word walk in a home and not get an intense look from the dog.

At the park, he runs everywhere to the point people laugh at him and ask if he ever gets tired. Nope. ;)
