New Years Wintery Wednesday Walk!

Been a week off from news delivery during the holidays but back for this on a proper weds this time!

Here I was thinking maybe we were about to have all the early winter snow melt and the lake blasted us with 3 more days of squalls.
This is a fun shot with the guys as we helped deliver hundreds of toys to charity organizations who will make sure hundreds of kids had something to open Christmas morning

As far as driving goes, the roads between the 9k steps were no picnic. Snow flurries and squalls most of the day.

It is amazing how the phone camera seems to cancel out the snow as it looked much worse than this in person. The country roads were plowed and sanded but still precarious.

Just keep your snow tires in the tracks and leave enough space and you should be fine.

This one gives you a little better view of the falling snow that kinda kept me below my standard 10k steps.

Even Mater seems a little frigid hanging in his snow-covered field.

The sky cleared a little for my customary shot from the steps of city hall. Looks almost like a pleasant winter day!

Pleasant until you find one of these meat sticks blocking a whole direction of a street. No effort to find a spot to pull over for the delivery and everyone else has to navigate the slippery roads around them.

Well when the news is delivered, might as well head to the brewery to brew a batch of stout and an amber.

Snow or not, I gotta get the little guy out to the dog park for a run. Kinda nice even when there are no people silly enough to be out in this weather.

One last shot for the day saved for the miracle occurrence of catching my guy still! Nobody loves 9k winter steps more than him I think!
