Man I love joining you on these adventures in nature. The wide angle shots for the whole experience and the itemized close ups showing each sign of life. All with over 14 k steps!

Thanks - every day out there I try to grab what I see. I have a good friend who is a bird watcher - he carries this 3 foot long lens and has a bad back. That little birdie just posed. Not a great shot but it captured the moment for me - a slice of yellow on the wing. No long lens needed. No bad back
That's the one thing I have difficulty with not having a proper zoom on my smart phone. Capturing birds! I see it now!
Big lens needs body building time. When we move down south full time, I will do the bird thing. We do live on one of the most important breeding grounds on the East Coast. Ride a bit - walk a bit - sit a lot - snap a lot
Photographers have told me the best camera is the one you have with you ;) When you are down south, that will be the one with the lens I have no doubt.
